Al-Noor Austell Foundation Brings Care to Those Who Need It Most

On Saturday, 19 July, the Al-Noor Austell Foundation joined forces with Gift of the Givers and the Hope Foundation to host a life-changing Medical Day for underserved communities. This initiative, which was held at the Durban Christian Centre Jesus Dome in Mayville, aimed to make quality healthcare accessible to those who need it most, reaffirming Austell’s commitment to medicine with a conscience.

The event provided free healthcare services to 1 500 patients, offering a wide range of clinical care, including:

• Clinical screening and general health check-ups
• Audiology and hearing care
• Dentistry services
• Optometry and vision testing
• HIV/AIDS and TB support and testing
• Gynaecology consultations
• Paediatric assessments and treatment

To further support this initiative, the Al-Noor Austell Foundation sponsored medication for the onsite pharmacy, ensuring that every patient received the treatment prescribed by attending healthcare professionals.
