Austell Pharmaceuticals kicked off their 20th year in style, bringing together over 300 employees, or Austellians, from across the globe to celebrate the milestone. To kick things off, Austell hosted their annual Sales and Marketing Conference held at the Capital on the Park in Sandton, Johannesburg, between the 6th and 9th of January.
The event was more than a celebration, setting the tone for the upcoming year and bringing together Austellians for three days of networking, strategising, and learning. Kicking off proceedings was the keynote address presented by Suhail Gani, the Founder and CEO of Austell.
Rooted in decades of experience, Gani reflected on the past 20 years painting a vivid picture of the company’s journey. During his address, Gani made special mention of those who have walked the journey with him, using them as case studies for the potential growth available within the company.
After reflecting on the company’s journey, Gani moved on to reveal his exciting future plans for the company. During this address, Gani spoke of Austell’s values, demonstrating how they inform and shape the trajectory of the company.
To celebrate the 20-year milestone and the company’s exceptional growth, a special session was held to recognise and celebrate outstanding individuals and teams within the organisation. In addition to being presented with certificates and trophies.
The following two days were jam-packed with invaluable conference sessions. Designed to equip sales and marketing teams with the exceptional knowledge and insights Austell representatives have become known for, these sessions offered colleagues an opportunity to align on strategy and become familiar with the several new products set to launch in the coming year.
In keeping with the mood of celebration, the second night marked the much-anticipated 1920s themed marketing awards. A total of 54 awards were presented over the evening in recognition of the hard work and dedication of the marketing and sales teams.
Following another day of strategy and learning, the conference culminated in the “Night of the Stars” Gala Evening, held on the 9th of January. A calendar highlight for many, this event marked the announcement of the two most anticipated awards – the Sales Representative of the Year and CEO awards. Dressed to the nines and motivated to take on the year ahead, Austellians enjoyed the final evening by celebrating their successes and acknowledging the invaluable contributions made by them and their team members.
The 2025 Austell Annual Sales and Marketing Conference was one for the books, ushering in 20 years of success and marking steps towards realising the Austell vision of bringing medicine with a conscience at a global level. The event was a roaring success, evoking the winning energy and strategic mindset needed to propel the company into a year of unprecedented growth, opportunity, and success.
