Manager of Corporate 
Social Responsibility (CSR) 
Non-Profit Organization

The Manager of the CSR Non-Profit Organization is responsible for leading, managing, and advancing the nonprofit's  mission in alignment with the founding company's social responsibility goals. This individual will oversee all aspects of  the non-profit's operations, including program development, fundraising, marketing, financial management, and community relations. The role demands a commitment to ethical leadership, transparency, and community engagement, aiming to create sustainable, positive impacts in the communities served.

On site in Parktown, Johannesburg

Key Performance Areas:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with both the non-profit's mission and the
    parent company's CSR objectives.
  • Lead the organization towards achieving its short-term and long-term goals while ensuring
    financial health and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the organization in all professional business capacities, enhancing its public image and
    expanding community awareness and support.


Program Development and Management:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate programs that fulfill the organization's mission and respond to
    community needs.
  • Ensure programs are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the broader CSR strategy of the
    parent company.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously assess and address community needs and program
    impact.

 

 Fundraising and Financial Management:

  • Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to secure grants, donations, and other sources of
    funding.
  • Oversee financial management, including budget planning, resource allocation, and financial
    reporting, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to support the organization's
    financial health and programmatic goals.

 

Marketing and Communication:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to enhance
    visibility, support fundraising, and engage the community.
  • Utilize various platforms, including social media, to promote the organization’s activities,
    achievements, and needs.
  • Ensure consistent and effective branding and messaging across all channels and materials.

 

Community Engagement and Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and the parent
    company to enhance the non-profit's reach and impact.
  • Engage in advocacy and public speaking to raise awareness and support for the organization's
    causes.
  • Partner with other organizations and stakeholders to maximize resource sharing and program
    effectiveness.


Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure the organization adheres to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards applicable to
  • Work closely with the board of directors to ensure governance practices are transparent,
    ethical, and aligned with the mission.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting to support decision-making and demonstrate
    accountability to stakeholders.

Duties:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

  • Execution of daily 4Dx lead measures
  • Deliver daily sales goals
  • Daily system compliance on Repwise, Power BI, Smartsheet, Sweet process (SOP)
  • Attend weekly accountability meeting
  • Submit weekly 4Dx results
  • Submit weekly route planner
  • Attend monthly accountability meeting
  • Submit monthly business review report
  • Submit monthly country trip planning
  • Expense planning & management
  • Deliver monthly 4Dx requirements
  • Deliver monthly sales target
  • Deliver quarterly sales goals & expectations
  • Attend half-year cycle meetings & annual conference

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Experience

  • Proven experience in non-profit management, CSR, or related field.(May be an advantage)
  •  Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, fundraising, and financial management abilities.
  •  Deep understanding of community needs and non-profit sector challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Education

BCom/BA Marketing Preferrable

Experience

5 years experience as a paid media specialist

Skills / Physical Competencies

Proven success in delivering paid search and social campaigns.

Google Ads Certified & Facebook blueprint certification is preferred.

Good background in performance marketing measuring tangible outcomes.

History of building, implementing, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills
